THREE-PART SERIES: ‘WAITHOOD’

Radio

All over the world, young people are finding it hard to grow up. They are getting stuck lodging with their parents, living hand-to-mouth and with no prospect of affluence or stability on the horizon. In some parts of the world, this is torment; in others, to some extent it is a choice. In this three-part series recorded in Ghana, Spain, Italy, California and London, Jake Wallis Simons meets the people experiencing a new stage of life that academics have dubbed ‘waithood’.
